I was born and raised in southern California, the son of immigrant parents, who came from Argentina and from Mexico. My first contact with the entertainment world was when I was 15 years old, my father managed a restaurant a few doors down from a small production stage.

The crew would often frequent the restaurant and I was working there during the summer to make a little money and help the family. I would hear the production stories and I was so interested in seeing it all for myself. My father saw my interest and knew the owners of the studio and made an introduction. I was offered a part time position as a shop person, cleaning answering phones and making runs. I was hooked, it was such a tight and fun family. I eventually was given the chance to help more on set, building sets and even helping light them.
I was introduced to the multiple departments and found myself drawn towards lighting.

This began my journey and as I graduated high school and went to college, lighting was always there with me.
Lighting is such an incredible language and we all speak it a bit differently. The idea of telling a story with no words, setting a tone or pace, also the interpretation of music into visual form is fascinating to me. We get to paint with light and create pictures where there was only darkness. I have been able to enjoy trying so many formats of lighting, competition realty, game shows, talk shows, award shows. I continue the passion that I had way back then to this day, I love what I do and can’t believe I get to do this for a living. We now have a lighting family (company)that shares in this passion and vision, a company of friends/family, who all enjoy what we do and the fact that we get to take these journeys together.
